Shannon Sharpe jersey online display

Bills receiver Sammy Watkins jersey cheap jersey cheap was honest about his feelings surrounding a lack of targets, and the hot takes are pouring in.

Before we throw our hat into the ring, here’s eight time Pro Bowler and NFL Hall of Fame tight end Shannon Sharpe jersey cheap on SiriusXM.

“Now I lobbied John (Elway) in the huddle, that’s different. Didn’t nobody know about that, I’m telling you now. My job is when you put me in the situation to go make plays. That’s my job. My job is not what to tell you what I can get open on. My job isn’t to tell you to throw me the football. But keep your mouth shut. Go to the person that you have the problem with.

“This is Tyrod Taylor jersey cheap jersey cheap’s first year starting he’s not a seasoned vet like Tom Brady jersey cheap jersey cheap or Peyton Manning jersey cheap jersey cheap. He’s not gonna be able to go one, two, three, checkdown, throwaway. Right now he’s in a situation where he’s looking for his first receiver or he’s taking off running if he’s not open. Give him time.

But I want Sammy Watkins jersey cheap jersey cheap to be quiet, get on the football field and give them a reason wholesale Ezekiel Elliott jersey
to give him ten targets again. The mistake he is making, because they moved up to select him, he feels that there’s some kind of obligation that the team should give him, because you traded up to discount nfl jerseys
get me. Nah, you earn that, bro. Where you got drafted has nothing to do with how many balls I’m gonna throw you, you gonna earn it. And you talking about it doesn’t help the case.”

His point about Taylor is not a bad one. We discussed something similar here. But here’s the part where we’ll come out and defend Watkins a little bit.

We ask our athletes to be honest. We want them to connect to us on a personal level and relay the day to day frustrations of their lives. Then, when they give us that morsel of honesty, we jam it back down their throats.

Watkins, who, if you ask his position coaches in high school and college, comes across as one of the most genuine players in football. He jokes around, but is always studious and always works hard. He was drafted by Buffalo, a team that traded a small fortune to get him, with the expectation that he’d be the dynamic playmaker he always was. Jerry Reese, the man who ended up drafting Odell Beckham jersey cheap, had Watkins higher on his draft board. This is what Watkins thrives on, and this is what he’s used to.

At least to one person, this is the frustration showing through in the Buffalo News piece from Thursday. He’s just a competitor sounds like the ultimate banal platitude, but there are times when it’s true. Watkins knows how to shoulder teams to victory. This time last year, the 3 2 Bills had targeted Watkins 44 times, resulting in 24 catches for 284 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He won games for the Bills. He was more than just a decoy.

Now, a year later, all of that has changed. For the first time he’s dealing with a different reality, and maybe even some unkept promises. He’s a little frustrated can you really blame him?

Jamal Adams jersey for sale cheap

Editor’s note: NFL Media analyst and former NFL scout Daniel Jeremiah takes a “first look” at college football’s top players for 2016. This is the 16th in a series of scouting reports that will run throughout the offseason.

In scouting circles, we use phrases like “that guy flashes on tape” or “he jumps off the screen.” We usually spout those words when we are trying to study a specific player, but someone else keeps stealing our Chinese Wholesale Jerseys
attention. That’s what happened late last fall when I began to study the LSU defensive players for the 2016 NFL Draft. I kept noticing this safety, No. 33. He was flying all over the field and making all kinds of plays. I had to pull up a roster to find out who he was and learn more about him. I quickly learned his name was Jamal Adams jersey cheap and he was only a sophomore. I made a point to peek at him when I attended LSU’s bowl game against Texas Tech. He didn’t disappoint. Over the summer I’ve had a chance to really dig in and study him on tape. This is my scouting report.

Adams is a chest up tackler and he delivered several big hits in the games I studied. He rolls his hips on contact and has immediate stopping power. He shows the ability to take on and get off blocks in the tackle box. He sets the edge like an outside linebacker. He plays bigger than his listed weight. His overall awareness is outstanding. Arkansas tried to fool him on a trick play, but he didn’t bite. He stayed in position and came away with a red zone interception. He plays with passion, and his teammates seem to feed off of his energy.

Where he needs to improve: When he’s aligned in the deep middle, he doesn’t always take the correct angle to the alley. He doesn’t miss many tackles, but he will have an occasional play in which he doesn’t come to balance and fails to trip up a ball carrier. However, this is really nitpicking his game. I’ve combed through my notes in search of negative observations, but there wasn’t a whole lot there. He is a very clean football player.

Biggest takeaway: Adams reminds me a lot of Eric Berry jersey cheap jersey cheap, who was the NFL’s Comeback Player of jerseys sale
the Year last season. I don’t think he’s quite as fast as Berry was coming out of college, but he plays the game the same way. His combination of physicality, instincts and energy is very enticing. I love his aggression and passion for the game. He is one of the top defensive players in the country, and he will be a household name by the end of the upcoming season.

I can’t wait to see him play . Alabama on Nov. 5. It doesn’t get much better than LSU vs. Alabama. Last fall, the Crimson Tide physically dominated the Tigers in Tuscaloosa. I expect a much better game in November, when LSU hosts Alabama. Howard) and his physical presence will be needed to slow down the Alabama rushing attack. I don’t know if LSU will be able to win the game, but I expect Adams to showcase all of his skills.

Sammie Coates jersey for discount

Leading up to the 2015 wholesale nfl jerseys
NFL Draft, each day NFL Fantasy will profile a prospect who could make a splash in fantasy next season. Today’s subject is former Auburn wide receiver Sammie Coates jersey cheap.

When studying wide receivers, I tend to zero in on the little things that separate the top players at the position from the rest of the pack. Certainly raw physical attributes are part of the equation, but that’s not what helps guys like Antonio Brown jersey cheap and Jordy Nelson jersey cheap jersey cheap get wide open on a consistent basis. They are masters of all of the subtleties of the position, and use every tool at their disposal to beat opposing defenders on a weekly basis. When I popped on the tape of Auburn’s Sammie Coates jersey cheap, I saw a guy with fantastic speed and physical gifts, but a player who needs to fill out his toolbox a bit before he can really make a splash in the NFL.

The first thing you notice when watching Coates at Auburn is that he looks the part of an NFL wide receiver. He has a big body and is a fluid, fast runner. His long strides help him cover a lot of ground in a hurry and his speed helps him get immediate separation from which cornerbacks struggle to recover.

Coates is a home run threat who averaged more than 21 yards per reception in both 2013 and 2014, although he never tallied more than 42 receptions in a single season. While Coates often had to deal with underthrows, even when his quarterback put the ball right in the breadbasket Coates too often came up empty. A deep threat who struggles to catch the deep ball is deeply concerning.

When I reviewed Devin Smith jersey cheap’s tape, he was a natural at locating the deep ball in the air and putting himself in an ideal position to catch it. Coates is far from Smith’s level in this regard, and to make matters worse there were times where he and Marshall were so far off the same page, it looked like they were reading different playbooks altogether. Now, I don’t know whom to blame in those situations, but more often than not it falls on the wide receiver.

New Orleans Saints jersey cheap

Chip Kelly believes his system can make the most of wide receivers, so grabbing a raw, but physically gifted prospect like Coates in NFL Jerseys China
the middle rounds of the draft makes sense. Likewise, the Ravens believe Joe Flacco jersey cheap jersey cheap can develop young wide receivers, so they could restock their cupboard with Coates. The Saints traded away their previous deep threat in Kenny Stills jersey cheap jersey cheap, so they could get a prospect to learn under Brees by grabbing Coates.

Early fantasy draft projection

Coates has many of the traits you want in an NFL wide receiver, but right now nothing is clicking together. He’s like an unassembled Ferrari; if a coaching staff and quarterback can help Coates put all of his pieces together he could be a stud. But since he isn’t there yet, fantasy owners are best leaving him in the garage until a later date.

NFL jerseys for Week 1

Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em is the ultimate look at the weekly NFL matchups and how they’ll affect your fantasy football team. Sleeper alert features an under the radar player who could produce good numbers. Owners beware features a regular fantasy starter who could fail to meet expectations based on the strength of his opponent. Obvious fantasy starters like Peyton Manning jersey cheap jersey cheap and Adrian Peterson jersey cheap jersey cheap will not be featured. Spiller vs. Chicago Bears jersey cheap: So . which Spiller will we see this season? The one who was a stud two years ago, or last season’s less valuable version? I’d settle for something in between, and Spiller’s opening matchup against the Bears makes him a viable flex option. In 2013, Chicago’s defense surrendered an average of over 24 fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. That was the second most in the entire NFL.

Frank Gore jersey cheap jersey cheap vs. Dallas Cowboys jersey cheap: Notice a trend? Gore might be a bit long in the tooth at age 31, but he just continues to produce in the stat sheets. In fact, he’s rushed for over 1,100 yards and at least eight touchdowns in each of the last three seasons. Couple that with a matchup against the Cowboys, who had an awful run defense in 2013, and it’s not too hard to explain why Gore is a solid fantasy option this weekend.

Sleeper alert Mark Ingram jersey cheap jersey cheap vs. Atlanta Falcons jersey cheap: Ingram looked tremendous in the preseason and appears to have earned the top spot on the New Orleans depth chart. While he’s still going to share some of the workload with Pierre Thomas and Khiry Robinson jersey cheap, the Alabama product is all of a sudden on the radar as a flex starter. The Falcons also allowed the ninth most fantasy points (19.91 PPG) to backs in 2013, so the matchup is favorable too.

Steven Jackson vs. cheap nfl jerseys
New Orleans Saints jersey cheap: Jackson (hamstring) will start for the Falcons in Week 1, but he shouldn’t Cheap Jerseys from China
be on your fantasy football roster. He’s a slow starter in the stat sheets, and his September numbers prove it. In his last nine games in that month, Jackson has failed to rush for more than 77 yards. He’s also scored just three total touchdowns in his last 14 September contests, making him a major risk for fantasy owners.

Trent Richardson vs. Denver Broncos jersey cheap: Richardson was a massive disappointment last season, and his preseason numbers did nothing to build confidence in the minds of fantasy leaguers. In fact, he rushed for fewer than three yards per carry in his final two contests. The Colts have issues on their offensive line as well, making Richardson even more of a risk in Week 1. Keep him on the fantasy sidelines for your season opening contest.

Owners beware Ryan Mathews jersey cheap vs. Arizona Cardinals jersey cheap: The Cardinals were the toughest team in the league for fantasy running backs to score on last season, especially on their home field. In eight games, a mere two teams rushed for 100 or more combined yards. Furthermore, Arizona allowed just two rushing touchdowns in those contests. That makes Mathews, who was drafted as a RB2/3 in most fantasy leagues, a real risk in this clash of Western teams.
